| Reverse description | The central field displays the bold numeral '10' in large incuse-outlined figures dominating the design. Immediately below the numeral, the denomination is inscribed in three scripts: රුපියල් දහයයි in Sinhala, பத்து ரூபாய் in Tamil, and TEN RUPEES in Latin. The date 2013 appears at the base, flanked by two sprays of laurel or olive branches. Along the upper periphery, the country name is rendered trilingually: இலங்கை in Tamil to the left, ශ්රී ලංකා in Sinhala at the top, and SRI LANKA in Latin to the right. A continuous decorative geometric border of repeating stepped motifs runs along the full inner edge of the coin. |
