Reverse description The large numeral '10' dominates the central field, with the denomination spelled out below in three scripts: Sinhala (රුපියල් දහයයි), Tamil (பத்து ரூபாய்), and Latin (TEN RUPEES). The country name Sri Lanka appears at the top in three scripts — Sinhala (ශ්‍රී ලංකා), Tamil (இலங்கை), and Latin (SRI LANKA). The date 2013 is inscribed at the base, flanked on either side by sprigs of paddy ears. The entire design is enclosed within a circle, with a geometric ornamental pattern running along the periphery and a partly raised rim.
