| Описание лицевой стороны | Intaglio-printed vignette of the octagonal pavilion of the Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa) at Kandy occupies the right side of the note, rendered in fine architectural detail against a multicolour guilloche underprint with floral scrollwork. The trilingual bank title in Sinhala, Tamil, and English appears at the top, with the denomination cartouche in all three scripts at the lower centre. A stylised lotus plant decorates the left margin, flanking the legal tender text in Sinhala. |

The trilingual bank title and denomination appear at top and bottom respectively, with a trilingual caption identifying the subject below the architectural scene. |
