| Descrizione del dritto | Intaglio-printed vignette of the octagonal pavilion of the Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa) at Kandy occupies the right side of the note, rendered in fine architectural detail against a multicolour guilloche underprint with floral scrollwork. The trilingual bank title in Sinhala, Tamil, and English appears at the top, with the denomination cartouche in all three scripts at the lower centre. A stylised lotus plant decorates the left margin, flanking the legal tender text in Sinhala. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse carries an intaglio vignette of the hemispherical dagoba at the Raja Maha Vihare, Kelaniya, viewed through its ornate arched gateway with flanking columns and steps leading up from the foreground. A large circular watermark window is reserved in the upper centre, framed by elaborate multicolour floral scroll ornamentation in pink, gold, and olive. The trilingual bank title and denomination appear at top and bottom respectively, with a trilingual caption identifying the subject below the architectural scene. |
