10 Roubles Naro-Fominsk

Naro-Fominsk, a textile town southwest of Moscow, earned its city status only in 1926 — but its place in the commemorative rouble series was secured by its role in the winter of 1941–42, when Soviet forces recaptured it from German occupation during the Battle of Moscow. The town held symbolic weight in the broader counteroffensive narrative.
