Aanvullende informatie

Abdul Halim of Kedah became the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong in April 2011, making him the first ruler to hold the office twice — he had previously served as the 7th Agong from 1970 to 1975. That distinction alone made the commemorative issue unusual, as the Malaysian royal rotation system among the nine hereditary state rulers had never before cycled back to the same individual.

Bank Negara's commemorative silver program for royal events has been issued sporadically since the 1980s, and this piece entered a relatively thin secondary market.
