Reverse description The reverse bears a three-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script centrally positioned within the field. The upper portion reads 'ضرب في' (Struck in) with the regnal year numeral above, the mint name 'مصر' (Misr/Egypt) appears in the middle register, and the accession year '١٢٥٥' (AH 1255) is inscribed at the base. A horizontal dividing line separates the mint name from the accession year. The design is framed by a continuous border of milled denticles.
