Reverse description The denomination and date in Burmese script are inscribed in two lines at the centre of the field, reading '၁၀ပြား' (10 pyas) above the date. The central inscriptions are framed on all four sides by symmetrical, densely scrolling floral and foliate vine ornaments that fill the corners and edges of the square flan, lending the design an elegant decorative character consistent with traditional Burmese artistic motifs.
