正面描述 At upper centre, a classical vignette of Hibernia seated with harp and shield, flanked by the Irish arms at left and the denomination "TEN" in an ornate panel at right, all within a fine engraved border. The note body carries a green guilloche underprint with the words "TEN POUNDS" and the promise to pay text in letterpress script, with serial numbers in black at left and right. A column listing the bank's branch offices across Ireland runs along the lower centre portion of the note.

备注

National Bank Limited was a New Zealand-incorporated institution, and this wartime issue was printed by Perkins Bacon in London — the same firm responsible for much of the British Empire's stamp and banknote production during the period. The First World War severely disrupted shipping, which created genuine logistical headaches for colonial banks dependent on London printers for their currency supply.

The 1915–1918 date range reflects issue period rather than a single print run; surviving examples often show manuscript date completions consistent with Perkins Bacon's standard practice of leaving fields partially blank for local completion at time of signing.
