| 备注 |
The Bank of New Zealand's £10 notes of this period were commercial bank issues, not government obligations — New Zealand retained a system of private note issue well into the twentieth century, only fully nationalizing currency in 1934 under the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act. Bradbury Wilkinson produced the plates in London, a common arrangement for colonial and dominion banks that lacked domestic security printing facilities of comparable standard.
The "with text on back" designation distinguishes this from earlier printings of the same series, a modification made during the note's production run rather than at reissue.
