The heading "Inspektion der Kriegsgefangenenlager im Bereich des III. Armeekorps" arches across the upper portion above a spread-eagle vignette, while the lower band bears the date "Berlin, den 1. The text panel is oval in outline and contains the redemption conditions in Gothic-style letterpress type, listing the three authorised redemption points and the network of camp commandant offices. A green overprint stamp reading "CROSSEN ODER" appears diagonally across the centre panel, and the printer's imprint "Ambrosius & Co. G.m.b.H. Kirchhain N.L." is set at the foot. |
