| Opis awersu | Central field displays the municipal arms of Wasseralfingen: a crowned shield bearing a rampant lion-like figure, surmounted by a civic mural crown. The date 1917 is divided either side of the shield, with '19' to the left and '17' to the right. A circular legend surrounds the design, reading 'NOTGELD DER GEMEINDE' in the upper arc and '• WASSERALFINGEN •' in the lower arc, all in incuse Latin lettering.
