| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a continuous inner pearl border, a nimbed ecclesiastical figure — likely a saint in liturgical vestments — stands facing forward at center, raising a chalice in the left hand and holding an open book in the right hand. To the lower left, a small lamb reclines beside a shepherd's crook, representing the Agnus Dei. To the lower right, a stylized church building with a steeple is depicted. The split date '15' and '75' flanks the central figure at mid-field, likely referencing a local anniversary year of 1575. A crosshatched decorative band runs along the lower register beneath the composition. |

Oldisleben issued this zinc notgeld piece during the acute small-change shortage that gripped Germany from 1917 onward, when wartime metal requisitions stripped copper and nickel from civilian circulation entirely. Zinc was the municipality's only practical option — an unglamorous metal that corrodes readily, which explains why survivors in problem-free condition are harder to find than mintage figures alone would suggest.
