背面描述 The reverse is similarly divided into two vertical panels with a decorative dashed border. The left panel, on a blue ground, bears a denomination cartouche reading 'Pf 10 Pf' in ornamental type above a scroll ribbon inscribed 'Jeder kennt das Pößnecker Leder,' with a vignette of a raw animal hide below. The right panel presents a colour lithographic industrial scene of a tannery yard: a worker tends large wooden barrels or rollers outside a workshop, evoking Pößneck's celebrated leather industry, with the word 'Walzfüller' inscribed at the top and the numeral '10' at each corner.

备注

Pößneck's Notgeld issues from the early 1920s were printed locally by Kuhlborn — unusual for smaller Thuringian towns, which more often contracted out to Leipzig or Jena printers. The Industry Series label suggests this was part of a thematic set, almost certainly produced with collectors in mind as much as for emergency small-change use, a commercial reality that defined much of the later Notgeld wave after 1921.

By that point, genuine purchasing necessity had largely passed; municipalities issued these to generate revenue through direct sales to collectors, a practice that blurred the line between currency and souvenir from the start.
