The date 1919 is divided on either side of the coat of arms, with 19 appearing to the left and 19 to the right. The denomination numeral 10 is inscribed at the lower center of the field below the coat of arms. The reverse layout is symmetrical and typographically spare, consistent with the utilitarian character of German notgeld coinage of the post-World War I period. |
