To the left, a circular vignette displays the Bavarian state coat of arms set within decorative scrollwork, flanked by a landscape view of a medieval castle ruin amid alpine foliage; to the right, a heraldic shield vignette presents an enthroned female figure holding a sword, with a church tower visible in the upper background. | 备注 |
Schliersee's 1921 Notgeld issue was printed by the Miesbacher Anzeiger, a regional newspaper press in nearby Miesbach — a common arrangement in Bavaria during the postwar small-change crisis, when municipal councils across Germany turned to whatever local printer could handle the job. The Marktgemeinderat, the governing council of a market township rather than a full city, had no printing infrastructure of its own.
Bavarian Notgeld from this period was generally short-lived; most issues were redeemed and destroyed within months of the stabilization of the Rentenmark in late 1923.
