| Opmerkingen |
Montabaur's 1920 notgeld issue came from Gebrüder Parcus in Munich, a firm that handled an enormous volume of German municipal emergency currency during this period and brought genuine craft to what could easily have been throwaway printing. Karl Staudinger's involvement as designer places this above the purely functional end of the notgeld spectrum.
The DeNG reference suffix structure — 1/2#0898.1-1/3 — indicates this is one of a numbered series of variants, worth tracking against the others before cataloging individually.
