| Obverse description | Black letterpress on a blue underprint, with the denomination repeated in large grey guilloche letters across the centre field as a decorative underprint. The heading "TESORERIA GENERAL DEL ESTADO" is set in bold display type, beneath which the bearer clause and value "DIEZ=$10=PESOS" appear in a prominent central band. The date "Chihuahua, 10 de Diciembre 1913" and the printed authority of Provisional Governor General Francisco Villa are placed below, with two manuscript signatures occupying the lower portion; red serial numbers and series letter are printed in the upper margin, and a repetitive ornamental guilloche border frames the entire note. |
