| Description de l’avers | Central intaglio vignette of George Washington within an oval laurel wreath frame, with the large bold inscription PHILIPPINE ISLANDS and TEN SILVER PESOS above and below the portrait. A large red Roman numeral X underprint appears at left, and a red circular Treasury of the Philippine Islands seal is applied at right with manuscript annotation reading Manila, Philippine Islands. Two red serial numbers appear at upper right and lower left, with the authority text and series date printed in letterpress along the upper margin. |

| Description du revers | Uniformly printed in brown, the reverse is composed entirely of intricate guilloche latticework and ornamental scroll designs. A central horizontal cartouche bears the inscription PHILIPPINE ISLANDS, flanked above and below by a circular guilloche medallion reading TEN SILVER PESOS in two arcs. Large numeral 10 counters appear in the lower corners, Roman numeral X ornaments fill the upper corners, and subsidiary oval panels inscribed TEN PESOS are positioned at centre left and right within the overall symmetrical lathe-work border. |
