Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail with the traditional shield, Phrygian cap, and oak and laurel branches. A curved legend reading REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs above along the upper periphery, while the denomination 10 PESOS appears below the arms. The silver purity AG 0.999 and troy weight 1 OZ are inscribed in the left and right fields respectively. The entire design is enclosed by a rope border running close to the raised rim.
