| 表面の説明 | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three sections bearing a royal palm, a rising sun over mountains, and a golden key between two promontories, surmounted by a Phrygian cap on a fasces and flanked by sprigs of oak on the left and laurel on the right. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals, while the denomination 10 PESOS is inscribed along the lower periphery. The design is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. |

The "Pinta" is one of three ships commemorated in Cuba's long-running series marking the quincentennial of Columbus's 1492 voyage — a program that stretched across multiple decades and issuing authorities. Cuba's sustained interest in the Columbus narrative ties partly to the island's own role as one of his first landfall regions in the Caribbean.
KM#813 is a relatively late entry in that series cycle.
