| Anmerkungen |
Banco de Caldas was a regional Colombian bank operating out of Manizales, and its note issues from this period reflect the fragmented, department-level banking that persisted in Colombia well into the early twentieth century. The American Bank Note Company handled most of Colombia's serious regional currency printing at this time — the ABNC's New York plant was effectively the default printer for Colombian issuers who wanted engraved intaglio work they couldn't source domestically.
Pick 329 is scarce. Caldas department was coffee country, and the regional banks that served it were absorbed or wound down as Colombia's 1923 Kemmerer Mission reforms consolidated the banking system under the newly established Banco de la República.
