Obverse description Plain off-white paper with a repetitive typeset border running along all four edges. The central text, produced by typewriter or letterpress, states the emergency issue authorization by the President of the Philippines. Three manuscript signatures appear below the main text, attributed to the Treasurer, Auditor, and Deputy Governor, with their respective titles printed beneath in uppercase.

Reverse description Plain off-white paper with the same repetitive typeset border as the obverse. The central text, in letterpress, contains the redemption promise in silver currency or equivalent United States legal tender, with the denomination repeated at each corner. The serial number and series letter are handwritten in ink at the lower portion of the note.
