Descrizione del dritto	The upper portion of the note carries the bold bank title EL BANCO DEL CAUCA, with the promise PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR A LA VISTA immediately below, all in crisp letterpress. At left, a finely engraved allegorical female figure in classical dress is seated amid agricultural implements and a plow, while at right an oval portrait vignette presents a uniformed military figure in intaglio engraving. The denomination DIEZ PESOS appears in guilloche panels flanking a central numeral 10 counter, with the issue place Cali and date entered in manuscript, and three manuscript signature lines below for PRESIDENTE DE LA DIRECCIÓN, GERENTE, and INSPECTOR.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is printed in dark ink and centres on an oval vignette of the Colombian coat of arms — a condor surmounting a shield — enclosed within intricate engine-turned guilloche borders. Two large symmetrical ornamental panels filled with lathe-work rosette designs flank the central vignette, with circular numeral 10 counters at left, right, and top. A rectangular panel along the lower margin carries the inscription ESTADO SOBERANO DEL CAUCA, with the American Bank Note Co. New York imprint below.
