| 正面描述 | Fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicting a right-facing draped bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Jewelled Diadem. The legend 'ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY' arcs around the upper periphery, with the date '2022' positioned below. The portrait is rendered in Rank-Broadley's characteristic fine relief style, with the initials 'IRB' present beneath the truncation. |

Guernsey's wildlife decimal series has leaned heavily on the colourisation technique since the 2010s, applying enamel-like surface treatments to standard circulating planchets as a way of generating collector premiums from otherwise modest base-metal issues. The Hen Harrier was chosen partly because of genuine conservation concern — the species had effectively vanished from Guernsey as a breeding bird by the mid-twentieth century, persisting only as an occasional winter visitor.
