Aanvullende informatie

Jersey's decimalized coinage has commemorated figures from the island's history since the 1980s, and Queen Anne holds particular relevance here: the 1702 Act granting Jersey certain trading privileges was confirmed under her reign, reinforcing the island's distinct constitutional relationship with the Crown that persists to this day. This nickel plated steel issue is among the first Jersey circulating pieces to carry the effigy of Charles III alongside a historical subject rather than a purely symbolic one.
