Jersey's decimalized coinage has commemorated figures from the island's history since the 1980s, and Queen Anne holds particular relevance here: the 1702 Act granting Jersey certain trading privileges was confirmed under her reign, reinforcing the island's distinct constitutional relationship with the Crown that persists to this day.
