At centre, an oval vignette encloses a steamship at sea encircled by the legend BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO / COLONIAS, COMMERCIO, AGRICULTURA, surmounted by the bank name and the payability inscription PAGAVEL NA COLONIA DE TIMOR. The denomination DEZ PATACAS is set in bold letterpress below the central vignette. |
