| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate Ottoman tughra of Sultan Abdulaziz, rendered in fine calligraphic relief with characteristic sweeping loops and vertical strokes. The denomination numeral appears in Arabic script below the tughra. The coin is struck within a beaded border encircling the entire field, consistent with Egyptian Ottoman milled coinage of the period. |
