The forepart of the Sphinx's body, showing the layered chest and paws, extends across the lower portion of the design, conveying the monument's monumental scale. The field is otherwise plain, lending prominence to the central motif. A small Arabic numeral legend '١.٤' appears in the lower exergue area beneath the Sphinx.
