| Obverse description | At centre of the gold inner disc, a whooper swan in full flight is depicted with wings outstretched, rendered in high relief against a plain field. Surrounding the central motif, twelve small five-pointed stars are arranged in a ring along the inner edge of the silver outer ring, referencing the European Union. The legend 'EU' appears at upper left and '1995' at upper right of the silver ring, with 'SUOMI FINLAND' inscribed along the lower arc. The metal content indicators 'Au' and 'Ag' are inscribed at the lower portion of the gold centre near the junction of the two metals. |
