The central vignette consists of a large elliptical cartouche in black bearing the denomination "10 MARK" in bold white letters flanked by numeral "10" panels, set within a rectangular guilloche frame with radiating ray pattern. The issuing authority's title arches across the top, two manuscript signatures appear below the central cartouche flanking the date "BERLIN DEN 1 OKT 1917", and a serial number is printed at the foot between the payment authorization clauses. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Black text on a cream ground within a large central oval cartouche, surrounded by an elaborate orange ornamental border with acanthus scroll work filling the corners and a double-rule frame. The redemption regulations are set in plain letterpress across seven numbered clauses within the oval. A large green overprint reading "FRANKFURT ODER" is applied diagonally across the centre, identifying the specific camp commandant's office. The printer's imprint appears in small type at the foot margin below the decorative border. |
