Reverse description Entirely typographic and ornamental reverse printed in olive-green, consisting of an elaborate central guilloche rosette composed of concentric lathe-work circles flanked symmetrically by two smaller rosette clusters, all set against a fine engine-turned underprint background. The denomination '10' with flanking 'M' letters appears in all four corners and at mid-left and mid-right positions within the guilloche field, reinforcing the note's value in a purely geometric composition without pictorial imagery. The printer's imprint 'M. DUMONT SCHAUBERG KÖLN' is typeset in small capitals along the bottom margin below the border.

Bonn's civic emergency money — Notgeld issued jointly by the Stadt- und Landkreis Bonn and the neighbouring Siegkreis — reflects the administrative improvisation forced on German municipalities during the post-WWI currency chaos. The joint issuance across two distinct administrative districts is unusual; most Notgeld was issued by a single Gemeinde or Kreis acting alone.

M. Dumont Schauberg, the Cologne-based printer, was one of the more prolific producers of Rhineland Notgeld and had deep roots in regional publishing long before the inflation period pressed them into currency work.
