正面描述	The obverse is printed in salmon-red and black on plain paper, with an overall Art Nouveau geometric underprint of stylized foliate motifs arranged in a grid, bordered by a dotted frame. At centre, the circular municipal seal of Emden — inscribed 'SIEGEL DER STADT EMDEN' and bearing the city's heraldic eagle over a fortified wall — is overprinted in black. The denomination '10 Mark' appears in large bold Gothic typeface at left and right, with the voucher legend 'Gutschein über Zehn Mark' in the centre field, and two manuscript signatures below the authority lines 'Magistrat' and 'Bürg.-Vorst.-Koll.'.

背面描述	The reverse mirrors the obverse underprint style, with the same salmon-red Art Nouveau foliate guilloche pattern and dotted border. The central panel carries a large watermark-style inscription 'STADT EMDEN' in pale block letters beneath a decorative band, with the municipal seal overprinted in black at centre. A redemption notice in Gothic script occupies the lower central field, stating that the note is redeemable at the Kämmereikasse Emden until 1 February 1919. The legend 'Stadt Emden' is repeated in Gothic type at all four corners.
