Below, a multi-line letterpress text in German states the conditions of acceptance, dated 'Altona, den 2. November 1918', and four facsimile signatures of municipal officials appear at the foot. |

A central letterpress vignette consists of symmetrical floral and acanthus-scroll ornaments framing the denomination numeral '10' above the word 'Mark' in blackletter script, surmounted by a ribbon cartouche. The whole is enclosed within a chain-link scrollwork border, and the printer's imprint 'H. W. Köbner & Co. G. m. b. H., Altona' appears in small type at the foot. |
