The circular legend LIBERTA EGUAGLIANZA is disposed around the upper periphery, with the mint mark Z V (Zecca Venezia) inscribed in the lower field below a decorative plinth. The coin is struck within a finely toothed beaded border and reflects the neoclassical artistic style prevalent in late eighteenth-century Italian republican coinage. |
