| Opmerkingen |
Myanmar's Security Printing Works at Wazi — established with German technical assistance in the 1970s — had by the mid-1990s taken over production of the full kyat series, displacing foreign printers entirely. A print run of just over twelve million is modest for a denomination in active daily use, suggesting either a short issue window or that companion print runs exist under adjacent serial ranges not yet fully catalogued.
The watermark is the sole security feature, a notably thin specification for the period.
