| 裏面の説明 | Predominantly pink and blue multicolour print centred on an intaglio vignette of the royal karaweik barge, a traditional Burmese ceremonial vessel surmounted by a multi-tiered pyatthat pavilion, set upon a stylised waterway against a fine guilloche background. A decorative diamond-shaped cartouche occupies the left margin, while the denomination numeral 10 appears in a scalloped panel at upper right. The denomination in Arabic numerals and English lettering is displayed in the lower panel against a wave-pattern guilloche band. |

Myanmar's Security Printing Works at Wazi — established with German technical assistance in the 1970s — had by the mid-1990s taken over production of the full kyat series, displacing foreign printers entirely. A print run of just over twelve million is modest for a denomination in active daily use, suggesting either a short issue window or that companion print runs exist under adjacent serial ranges not yet fully catalogued.
The watermark is the sole security feature, a notably thin specification for the period.
