Opis awersu	The obverse is printed in black on cream paper and enclosed within an elaborate rectangular border of interlocking arabesque and foliate guilloché ornament, with the numeral '10' repeated in circular cartouches at each corner. A large central oval vignette contains a radiating sunburst emanating from an elliptical void at its apex, below which a bold Ottoman tughra or calligraphic heading introduces the denomination. The body of the note is occupied by several lines of Ottoman Turkish script in a formal naskh hand, set within a plain oval frame, with an official circular seal at the foot bearing further Arabic calligraphy.
