A large central oval vignette contains a radiating sunburst emanating from an elliptical void at its apex, below which a bold Ottoman tughra or calligraphic heading introduces the denomination. The body of the note is occupied by several lines of Ottoman Turkish script in a formal naskh hand, set within a plain oval frame, with an official circular seal at the foot bearing further Arabic calligraphy. |
