| 表面の説明 | Printed in green on a fine guilloche underprint repeating FØROYAR across the entire field. The carved wooden Faroese coat of arms — a ram on a shield — occupies the left vignette, while the large denomination inscription TÍGGJUKRÓNUR is set centrally in bold letterpress. Denomination numerals appear in guilloche rosettes at all four corners, with the serial number in red at lower centre and a second alphanumeric prefix in black at upper right. |

| 裏面の説明 | Printed in green and grey, the reverse is dominated by a central landscape vignette of a traditional Faroese rural homestead — several turf-roofed farm buildings set against a dramatic backdrop of steep mountains. Denomination numerals in bold type occupy each corner against a plain ground, framed above and below by guilloche border bands. |

The second issue of Faroese 10 Krónur notes continued the arrangement established after World War II, under which Denmark printed and guaranteed Faroese currency separately from the mainland krone — a political compromise that acknowledged Faroese home rule without conceding full monetary independence. The notes were issued by Danmarks Nationalbank on behalf of the Faroese authorities, a dual-authority arrangement that remained a point of friction in Copenhagen-Tórshavn relations throughout the postwar decades.
Pick 18 is distinguished from the first issue primarily by serial number format changes and revised signature combinations reflecting new bank leadership by 1978.
