| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa, her hair elaborately coiffed and curled in the Baroque court fashion, enclosed within a wreath of laurel and palm branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The bifurcated legend flanking the effigy reads M THERESIA D G R to the left and IMP GE HU BO REG to the right, expanding to Maria Theresia Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperatrix, Hungarorum Bohemorumque Regina. The portrait is executed in high relief with refined die-work characteristic of mid-18th-century Habsburg minting practice. A standard milled border frames the design at the coin's periphery. |
