Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, set within an open laurel wreath terminating below the portrait, with the mint mark appearing in the lower field beneath the bust truncation. The encircling legend abbreviates his full imperial and royal titles in Latin. The portrait is rendered in the neoclassical style typical of late 18th-century Habsburg coinage, with fine detailing on the laurel wreath and drapery at the shoulder.
