Obverse description The denomination numeral '10' appears at the top centre, flanked by two putti riding dragons, with a laurel wreath enclosing the value at the foot of the design set against military war trophies. Two full-length classical figures — Hercules to the left and Artemis to the right — stand facing inward within ornate baldachins atop pedestals with lion's-head decoration, each surmounted by a crowned imperial double-headed eagle. The entire composition is executed in a fine intaglio engraving style characteristic of mid-nineteenth-century Austrian fiscal printing, with multilingual inscriptions in ten languages of the Empire running along the borders.
