A small woodcut vignette of the imperial Austrian double-headed eagle coat of arms appears at centre, flanked by columns of Fraktur text headed 'Münzschein.' and the denomination 'Zehn Kreuzer.' in heavy blackletter type. The issuing authority 'Kais. Kön. Haupt-Münzamt.' appears at lower left with a manuscript signature at lower right, and the date 'Wien am 1. Juli 1849.' beneath the redemption text. |
