Aanvullende informatie

Elizabeth died in January 1762 before these copper pattern pieces could advance to authorized production, leaving them as unissued trials for a denomination reform that never materialized under her reign. The Novodel designation here is significant — these are later restrike fabrications produced by the St. Petersburg Mint for collectors, a practice the Imperial Russian mint carried out systematically through the 18th and 19th centuries using original or reconstructed dies. The three KM references reflect documented die combinations rather than distinct original issues.

The weight alone places this outside anything intended for casual commerce.
