| 背面描述 | The numeral '10' dominates the central field in large raised characters, set within an octagonal border. Below the numeral appears the Cyrillic denomination abbreviation КОП, and the date 1937 is inscribed in the exergue beneath. The octagon is flanked by decorative sprigs: an oak branch with acorns to the left and a wheat ear with a cotton branch to the right, lending a naturalistic agricultural motif to the design. |

Novodels of Soviet coinage occupy a peculiar corner of numismatic history. The USSR produced official restrike editions — novodels — primarily for sale to foreign collectors and diplomats, generating hard currency the state desperately needed. Fedorin 65H designates this as a confirmed novodel, distinguished from circulation strikes by die characteristics and surface preparation consistent with collector presentation rather than mint-line production.
The 1937 date places this among issues produced during the height of Stalinist industrialization, when nickel silver replaced the earlier copper-nickel alloys across the kopeck series.
