The saint holds an open scroll inscribed in Church Slavonic: ГОСПОДИ, В ІМ'Я ПРЕСВЯТОЇ БОГОРОДИЦІ, МАТЕРІ ТВОЄЇ, ЗВЕДЕНИЙ БУВ ХРАМ ЦЕЙ. To the right of the figure, a detailed architectural rendering of the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra occupies the upper field, shown in elevation with multiple cupolas and arched façades.
