| 正面描述 | Within a central square frame, an allegorical scene depicts two female figures robed in classical tunics: one bearing a flaming torch cup and the other holding laurel branches, symbolizing the Olympic peace tradition. The small National Emblem of Ukraine (trident) appears above the square frame. The legend УКРАЇНА arcs above, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ inscribed below the frame, the date 2002 to the left, and the metal purity and fineness designation also present in the field. |

Issued as part of Ukraine's ongoing Olympic sports commemorative program, this piece was released ahead of the 2004 Athens Games — Ukraine's third Summer Olympics as an independent nation. The series was produced at the Luhansk Mint, which by the early 2000s had become the primary facility for Ukrainian collector coinage following the reorganization of domestic minting capacity after independence.
