| Obverse description | The obverse features the Ukrainian trident coat of arms (tryzub) displayed within a shield at the top center of the field, flanked by an ornate decorative wreath composed of flora and fauna native to Ukraine, including oak branches with acorns, viburnum berries, thistle, and wild roses. A small bird perches on the left side of the wreath, and a butterfly appears among the foliage on the right. The Cyrillic inscription УКРАЇНА arcs across the upper central field beneath the shield, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ centered below. The silver fineness notation Ag 925 and the weight indicator 31.1 appear to either side of the numeral, and the date 1999 is inscribed at the base of the design. |

| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a highly detailed, naturalistic rendering of the lesser butterfly orchid (Platanthera bifolia), with a large, prominently rendered single flower occupying the center and right of the field, its petals and labellum rendered in fine sculptural relief. To the left, a full flowering spike of the same species is shown with multiple smaller blooms and the characteristic paired basal leaves at the base of the stem. The Cyrillic inscription ЛЮБКА ДВОЛИСТА arcs along the upper border of the field, while the Latin binomial PLATANTHERA BIFOLIA follows the lower border, together identifying the protected species depicted. |
